I’ve always believed that leadership is not about authority - it is about purpose, influence, and the ability to drive meaningful change. With over 23 years of experience spanning Chemicals, Plastics, Glassware, Media, and Advertising, I’ve navigated the complex worlds of B2B, B2C, and entertainment industries in renowned Indian and Multi-national companies, bridging strategy with human connection.
My passion lies in storytelling with substance - communication that not only informs, but inspires. I’ve led Corporate Communications, CSR, and DE&I functions as strategic levers to build trust, shape reputation, and align business with societal values.
As the Head of Corporate Communications & CSR at Covestro (India), I repositioned the communications function from a tactical enabler to
a boardroom driver - crafting narratives that influenced perception, accelerated visibility, and deepened stakeholder engagement. At the same time,
I evolved CSR from a compliance-driven obligation into a purpose-led, impact-oriented strategy, fully aligned with ESG, UN-SDGs, and national development priorities.

How It All Began
I didn’t plan on becoming a communicator. I simply followed my passion - the stories that moved me, and they led me here. I’ve always been drawn to people and their stories. As a child, I asked questions, listened closely, and tried to understand the emotions behind every word and silence. What felt natural then slowly grew into my way of seeing the world - and eventually, my calling. In many ways, communication found me long before I found it. It’s been my compass ever since.

The Personal That Powers the Professional
My story isn’t only professional - it’s deeply personal too. Motherhood, especially, has been a profound teacher. My two sons have shown me what
no textbook ever could - how to lead with empathy, how to stay curious, and how to find strength in the softest moments. They’ve grounded me, challenged me, and reminded me of what truly matters.
Balancing an ambitious career with motherhood hasn’t always been easy - but it’s been deeply rewarding. Every milestone, every school play, every work win (big or small) - they’ve all become threads in the fabric of my journey.
Life Between the Deadlines
Beyond work, I find joy in little things that bring colour to my life - singing, painting, photography, or simply getting creative in the kitchen. These are
my happy places, where I can pause, recharge, and sometimes even stumble upon new inspiration. I also love volunteering, surprising my loved
ones with small gestures, or winding down with a stand-up comedy binge - because a little laughter, I believe, goes a long way.
