From Passion to Purpose
Over the past two decades, I have worked across industries, business models and leadership teams, but one lesson has remained constant: The most successful organisations are those that align leadership, stakeholders and communication around a shared purpose. That belief has shaped my career and continues to guide my work today.
With over 23 years of experience across Chemicals, Plastics, Glassware, Media and Advertising, I have partnered with global and Indian organisations to strengthen reputation, navigate transformation, build stakeholder confidence and position Strategic Communications as a driver of business value. While my roles have evolved, my purpose has remained the same - to help organisations communicate with clarity, lead with credibility and build lasting trust.
Creating Business Impact
Throughout my career, I have viewed Strategic Communications, Brand, CSR and DE&I not as independent functions, but as strategic enablers of business success. Working closely with leadership teams, I have helped organisations:
-
Strengthen corporate reputation and leadership credibility
-
Align stakeholders during periods of change and transformation
-
Elevate Communications as a strategic business function
-
Build purpose-led CSR initiatives aligned with business and societal priorities
-
Foster inclusive cultures that strengthen engagement and organisational performance
One of the defining chapters of my journey was leading Corporate Communications & CSR at Covestro India, where Communications evolved from a tactical function into a strategic partner supporting business priorities, while CSR became a purpose-led agenda aligned with ESG and the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
What Leadership Has Taught Me
Experience has reinforced a few beliefs that continue to shape how I lead and how I think:
-
Trust is a strategic business asset.
-
Leadership credibility shapes organisational reputation.
-
Stakeholder alignment determines the success of strategy.
-
Strategic Communications creates value when it influences business outcomes.
-
Purpose and performance are strongest when they work together.
These principles have become the foundation of my leadership philosophy and the perspectives I share through this platform.
Recognitions
I have been fortunate to receive recognition that reflects the impact of my work and the values I strive to uphold.
🏆 Innovative Leader of the Year in Manufacturing - Indiantelevision & TellyChakkar.com (2025)
🏆 Iconic Woman Leader in Corporate Communications - The Golden AIM Awards (2025)
While these recognitions are meaningful, I believe the greatest measure of leadership is the positive and lasting impact we create for organisations, people and society.
The Heart Behind the Hustle
Long before I chose Communications as a profession, I was fascinated by people. Understanding what inspires trust, influences decisions and brings people together has always intrigued me. Looking back, I realise that curiosity became the foundation of my career. Communication, for me, has never been about words alone. It is about creating understanding, building relationships and helping organisations move forward with confidence.
Beyond the Boardroom
Some of my most valuable leadership lessons have come from life beyond work. Motherhood has taught me empathy, patience and perspective. My two sons remind me every day that listening often matters more than speaking, and that trust is built through consistency, not moments of perfection. Those lessons have shaped not only the leader I am, but the person I continue to become.
Looking Ahead
As I continue my journey, one question remains at the heart of my work: How can Strategic Communications help organisations strengthen leadership, align stakeholders and create sustainable business value?
This website is where I share that journey - through ideas, experiences and perspectives shaped by over two decades of leadership.
I hope these insights spark meaningful conversations and contribute, in some small way, to how organisations think about communication, leadership and trust.
